Aims: Attract Ss’ attention to the lesson and lead in the new lesson.
Dream prize game

Resource Book 57 to Ss.

Ss work individually to complete
Exercise 4. Each student writes
about his/her ‘5 dream prizes’.

Ss work in groups of 4. Each student
takes turns to share his/her ‘dream
prize’.

The others listen and decide if the
prize is silly or wonderful.

The game stops when all the group
members finish sharing their prizes.

Suggested answers:
A: I would like to win a prize for the
biggest feet.
B: It doesn’t make sense.
A: I would like to win a prize for the
most beautiful face.
