I. Objectives.
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- Pupils can talk about school things.

- Vocabulary: notebooks, pens, pencil cases, rubbers

- Listening and speaking.

- Love their school, keep your school things clean and tidy.
- Ss work hard in the lesson.
4. Forming competence:
- To know some school things.
- Active participate in groups, ready to help their friends.
II. Methods: Communicative approach, group Ss and T's activities, play as a
character, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods
by practising, discussion group, technical present....
III. Preparation.
1.Teacher’s preparation: CDs player, stereo, book.
2. Student’s preparation: Students’ aids: books, notebooks, workbooks.

- Call a group of five to the front of the
class to act out the Is your school new?
chant, the class claps the rhythm.
- Give comments.
Task 1: Look, listen and repeat.
- Have Ss open their books page 54.
- Tell ss that they are going to talk
about school things using These/Those
are (school things).
- Draw ss’ attention to the first picture
and elicit the names of the school
things in the picture..
- Explain what they say.
- Use 2 puppets to present the situation.
- Play the tape.
- Play the tape again.
- Ask ss work in pairs to practice the
dialogues.
- Monitor the activity.

- Act out the chant.
