I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to
- use the verb to be, subjective pronouns, and possessive adjectives correctly.
- use the verb be to introduce people
- love and be proud of what they like doing as well as avoid bad interests.

ACTIVITY 1: - Let students work in pairs to complete the table then check their answers in the text on page 6. - work through this exercise with the whole class, eliciting the missing words - Elicit the use of be and summarize

- Check the answers with the class and explain how to use these words

è Language point: Subjective pronouns: The subject of a sentence is a person or thing that performs the action of the verb. Subject pronouns are used to replace the subject (person or thing) of a verb. Possessive adjectives: The possessive adjectives are my, your, his, her, its, our, their, and whose. A possessive adjective sits before a noun (or a pronoun) to show who or what owns it.
