1. Warm-up
Aims: to attract Ss’ attention to the lesson and review the previous lesson.

T tells Ss to think of food items
that they sometimes buy in the
supermarket or at local shops,
including any details about weight
or size. They would write the price
of this food item on a piece of
paper.

T asks Ss to work in groups of 4.
They should take turns to ask
others about the price of their food
item. The other tries to guess the
price, if correct/closest, they win a
point for their team.

2. Set objectives
Aims: introduce the objectives of the lesson with a can-do statement.
