1.Warm-up
Aims: Attract Ss’ attention to the lesson and lead in the new lesson.
Guessing game
- T prepares some common musical
instruments on some pieces of
paper.
- T asks 1 student to stand in front of
the class. He/She picks up a word
from the T and tries to act out
without saying the word. Other Ss
guess the musical instrument using
the structure they’ve learnt.
- The fastest student to guess the
correct word can take the next turn
to play the game.
- Suggested answers: You are playing
the guitar/violin. → Yes, I am./No,
I’m not.
2.Set objectives
Aims: introduce the objectives of the lesson with a can-do statement.
