1. Warm-up
Aims: Attract Ss’ attention to the lesson and lead in the new lesson.

T delivers the handouts of Teacher’s
Resource Book 128 to Ss.

Ss work in pairs to predict what will
happen to them in each situation.
They have to use will, may/might
and adverbs of probability.

Ss swap their partners when they
hear the T says ‘Swap”.

T asks some pairs to share their
ideas.

Suggested dialogue:
A: My turn. If I fail my exams, my
parents will definitely be angry
with me. What about you?
B: If I fail my exams, I may have to
repeat one more year.
2. Set objectives
Aims: introduce the objectives of the lesson with a can-do statement.
- I can recall the grammar points that I’ve learnt in Unit 10.
