Contents
1. Warm-up
Aims: to attract Ss’ attention to the lesson and to lead in the new lesson.

T puts Ss into 2 groups. Choose 1 S
from each group to sit at the front
of the class, facing their groups.

T explains that you are going to
write a word on the board.
-
Ss are not allowed to turn around to
look at the word on the board, 2
groups are not allowed to say, spell
or translate the word.
-
2 groups try to define, give
examples, or do actions of the
words for 2 Ss to guess. The one
who guesses correctly will receive a
point for his/her group. Which group
get more points will be the winner.

Repeats the process.

T counts points and congrats to the
winner.

Suggested words: write, stand up, sit
down, open the book, close the book,
talk, watch…
