UNIT 10: WHAT DO YOU DO AT BREAKTIME?
Lesson 2 (1, 2, 3)
I. Objectives.
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. Knowledge:
- Express their likes and dislikes of a sport or a game.
- Sentence Patterns: Do you like ___? ̶ Yes, I do. / ̶ No, I don’t.
- Vocabulary: skipping, skating, hide-and-seek, blind man’s bluff
2. Skills.
- Listening and speaking.
3. Attitudes/Quality:
- Love sports
- Solidarity with friends
4. Forming competence:
- Know some about break-time activities.
- Practise with partner
II. Methods:
- Communicative approach, group Ss and T's activities, play as a character, teaching
methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practising,
discussion group, technical present....
III. Preparation.
1.Teacher’s preparation: CDs player, stereo, book.
2.Student’s preparation: Students’ aids: books, notebooks, workbooks.

- Tell ss that they are going to talk

time, using Do you like+(activity)?
- Draw ss’ attention to the first picture
and elicit the activities in the picture.
- Explain what they say.
- Use 2 puppets to present the
situation.
- Play the tape.
- Play the tape again.
- Ask ss work in pairs to practice the
dialogues.
- Monitor the activity.
