REVIEW 11: UNITS 31, 32, AND 33
A. Write one word in each gap.
Dear Gemma,
Hi! How are you? I finally persuaded my mum to take me shopping yesterday. It was
great! I tried (1) on lots of clothes and I was amazed (2) at/by the choice in all the shops.
It reminded me (3) of the time we went shopping when you came to stay. We had a lot of
fun. didn’t we?
Anyway, I found one of those jackets that are (4) in fashion at the moment – but I
couldn’t do it (5) up! I needed a bigger size, but they didn’t have any. Oh, well. Maybe
I’ll have another look (6) at the end of this week. I bought some shoes, though – they’re
similar (7) to the ones you’ve got, the pink ones. I have them (8) on at the moment and
they look great!
Oh, and you know that old house I had? Well, I’ve changed it (9) into a T-shirt! I cut
the sleeves (10) off and now it’ll be perfect for the summer.
I have to go now. Write soon and tell me all your news.
Lots of love,
Olivia
