a. Presentation: (15’)
- Ask Ss to consolidate all the knowledge. Ss and teacher review together.
* The present simple :
- T asks Ss : Who can repeat the present simple tense?
- Ss listen and answer.
(+) S + V(s/es) + O. Ex : I live in a village.
(-) S + don’t / doesn’t + V + O. I don’t line in the city.
(?) Do/ Does + S + V + O? Do you live in the city?
* The past simple :
- T asks Ss : Who can repeat the past simple tense?
Ss listen and answer.
(+) S + V- ed + O. Ex : We lived in the country.
(-) S + didn’t + V + O. We did play chess last night.
(?) Did + S + V + O? Did they go to school last Sunday?
* The present perfect :
- T asks Ss : Who can repeat the present perfect tense?
- Ss listen and answer.
(+) S + has/ have + V( PII ) + O. Ex : I have studied English for five years.
(-) S + hasn’t / haven’t + PII + O. She hasn’t gone to Paris yet.
(?) Has / Have + S + PII + O? Have you done your English homework yet?
* The passive form : S + V + O à S+ tobe + V(PII ) + by + O.
* Direct/ Indirect speech : “S + V + O” à S + said/ asked…+ S + V + O

* Exercise 2 : Change the sentences from the active into the passive

* Exercise 3 : Put the following sentences into reported speech.
