1. Knowledge:
After the lesson Ss can know more about the environment problems and the
solutions, read and answer the questions in the textbook.
+ Grammar: conditional sentence: type 1.
+ Vocabulary: garbage dump, deforestation, pesticides, dynamite, pollution,
spray, disappointed, provide…..
2. Competences:
- Autonomy and self-study, communication and collaboration, problem solving
and creativity.
- Group work, pair work….
3. Quality:
- Students can willing to participate in social activities, co-operate with people
around, have positive attitude to the environment.

I. Activity 1: Warm up: Getting started
*Aims: To help ss to relate to the topic of unit 9.
*Content: relate to the topic of unit 9.
* Output: Ss can relate to the topic of unit 9
* Process:
1.Transfering the learning task:
- Ask Ss to look at the six pictures on P. 47 and match the words in the box with
the correct pictures.
- Use the pictures to explain the new words if Ss can't guess the meaning:
dynamite fishing, spraying pesticides, deforestation.
2. Doing the task:
- Ss work in pairs to answer.
