Lesson 2.9. Review Grammar – 45 minutes

Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to make
sentences with there is/ there are and some quantifiers accurately and talk
about quantities of food and drink fluently.

1. Warm-up
Aims: to attract Ss’ attention to the lesson and review the previous lesson.

T asks Ss to work in groups of 8 to
brainstorm the words about the
topics that T gives.

Ss in each group will take turns to
write words in 3 minutes for each
topic.

The group that has more words is
the winner.
Exercise 1 (p.28) Use the glossary
to find words about food, places
and desserts. (Adaptation)

1. 7 types of food: bacon, burger,
brownies, pizza, salad, snacks, soup,….
