I. Objectives:
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
- Know how to introduce friends and how to respond to an introduction
- Pronounce correctly 2 vowel sounds a and e with the accompanying words
II. Procedures

1. Warm – up: - Play a song - Free talk 2. New lesson Activity: Look, listen and repeat - Ask student some questions about picture - Let student listen to the conversation - Do role – play to practice the conversation PRONUNCIATION - Introduce 2 letters/ vowel sounds that student will learn in the lesson - Help student understand how to pronounce them - Show words starting with a and e then let student repeat several times Activity: Point and say - Help student read/ practice 2 examples - Then practice with characters from a to d following the structure in the examples Activity: Listen and tick - Play the recording once/ twice and student tick on the right picture - Check Activity: Read and write - Ask student to read through 2 dialogues then write missing phrases in the blanks - Give student time to write - Check - Practice with 2 completed conversations EXTENDED KNOWLEDGE - Ask student to list down all the subjects that are used in English: => I, you, we, they, she, he, it - When student want to say something that belongs to someone, they should use possessive adjectives - Show student all the possessive adjectives I – my You – your We – our They – their She – her He – his It – its - Give some examples to help student understand Activity: Let’s sing - Let student listen to the song - Help student sing along/ practice reading 3. Summary: - Consolidate the content of the lesson - Learn and write new words and structures - Home work |

- Know how to answer Yes/ No questions
