Lesson 1. Part 1, 2.
I. Objectives:
A. Aims: By the end of the lesson, S.s will be able to:
- Know the way to greet formally.
- Practice listening and speaking skills.
B. Knowledge:
- Vocabulary: well, morning, afternoon, evening, night
- Pattern Sentences: Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening, good night
C. Skills: Listening, speaking, reading and writing.
II. Preparations:
A. Teacher: Cassette, tape, poster, S.s' Book.
B. Students: S.s' Book, notebook, pen.
III. Procedures:

* Warm up: - Sing ABC Alphabet song. 1. Look, listen and repeat: - Ask students to look at the picture in the book and ask: Who are they in the picture? Where are they? - T asks Ss to guess what they are going to talk. - T play the tape and asks Ss to listen + T repeats the dialogue 3 times + T asks Ss to guess the meaning of the dialogue + T repeats the dialogue once and lets Ss repeat - T asks Ss to look at their book, listen and repeat. - Do choral and individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking. - Divide the class into two groups to do choral and individual repetition 2. Point and say: -T sticks pictures of 3 times of a day on the board. - T points to the pictures and introduces the words. - T asks Ss to look at the pictures to make a similar dialogue with their partner. - T models first with a student - T invites some pairs to practice. - T give feedback.
4. Consolidation: - T consolidates the content of the lesson. |
