- Ask and answer about nationality
- Know how to spell words
- Improve Speaking, Listening and Writing skill
II. Procedures

Activity: Point and say - Tell S look at pictures and practice by structure Activity: Listen and tick - Tell S listen and put tick on the right picture - Play the audio - Check Activity: Look and write - Ask S to look at the picture and write the name of the country under each. - Give S time to do the task - Check - Ask S to read the completed ones PRONUNCIATION - Introduce 2 sounds - Help S understand how to pronounce 2 of them - Practice with accompanying words
*) Lesson 2 Activity: Look, listen and repeat - Let S listen to the conversation - Practice the conversation with S - Elicit structure: (1). How do you spell your name? => …… (2). What is your nationality? => I am Vietnamese - Practice with (1) VOCABULARY - Teach S new words about nationality - Tell S repeat few times Activity: Listen and number - Play the audio for S to listen - Ask S to number pictures from 1 – 4 - Check Activity: Finish the blank - Take a look at the example - Explain for S what she/ he needs to do - Give S limited time to do - Check PRONUNCIATION - Review the sound /v/ - Practice with words and sentences EXTENDED KNOWLEDGE - Ask S to say the Alphabet - Write the Alphabet on the screen - Then point at random letter to ask S what letter it is (If S has already known the Alphabet, just do it quickly like reviewing) 3. Summary: - Consolidate the content of the lesson - Learn and write new words and structures - Home work |
