I. Objectives:
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
- Ask and answer what someone did on holiday
- Gain grammar lexical about: Past simple (to be, regular verbs)
- Improve Speaking, Listening and Writing skill

Was/ Were + S + …? Wh-questions + was/ were + S? - Give S some examples - Give S an exercise about this grammar to practice (T prepares by yourself or take a look at New Grammar Time 3)
- Teach S PST with regular verbs: (+) S + V_ed (-) S + didn’t + V0 (?) Did + S + V0? - Give S some examples - Teach S about how to add –ed in verbs + verbs end with –ed => add only –d + verbs end with a consonant + -y => y – ied + verbs end with a consonant + a vowel + a consonant => double the last consonant and add –ed +… - Teach S about signals of PST: yesterday Last + time Time + ago …… - Let S to do an exercises to practice (T prepares by yourself or take a look at New Grammar Time 3) VOCABULARY - Teach S new words - Check understanding - Require S to repeat few times for each Activity: Look, listen and repeat - Let S listen to the conversation - Practice the dialogue - Elicit structure: + Where did you go on holiday? => I went to…. + What was it/ the trip like? => It was…. + Where were you on holiday? => I was…/ I went to…..
