UNIT 13: WHERE’S MY BOOK?
Lesson 1 ( 1, 2, 3)
I. Objectives.
- By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
1. Knowledge:
- Ask and answer questions about the location of things in the house (singular).
- Sentence Patterns: Where’s the_______? ̶ It’s here / there.
- Vocabulary: poster, bed, chair, picture, coat, ball, here, there
2. Skills:
- Develop Ss listening and speaking
3. Attitudes/ Quality:
- Keep their things tidy
- Confident in learning and practice situations
4. Forming competence:
- Co-operation
- Using language to ask and answer questions about the location of things in the house
(singular).
II. Methods:
- Communicative approach, group Ss and T's activities, play as a character, teaching
methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practising,
discussion group, technical present....
III. Preparation.
1. Teacher’s preparation: CDs player, stereo, book.
2. Student’s preparation: Students’ aids: books, notebooks, workbooks.

vocabulary learnt.
Task 1: Look, listen and repeat.
- Have pupils turn to page 18.
- Ask pupils to talk about the
characters

things in a room.
- Use a poster to present the
situation.
- Play the tape.
- Play the tape again.
- Call on 2 pairs to perform at the
front of the class.
- Have whole class repeat each line
of the dialogue in chorus.
