Period 41: UNIT 6 : HOW MANY LESSONS DO YOU HAVE TODAY?
Lesson 3: Activity 4, 5, 6, 7
I. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
- Knowledge:
- Use the words & phrases related to the topic School Lessons
- Say questions & answers with the correct sentence stress.
2. Skills: Reading and writing skills.
3. Attitude/ Quality:
- Learn hard
- Confident in learning and practice situations
- Be confident in communicating with friends/ teachers.
4. Forming competence:
- Self-study ( can perform individual tasks and solve problems by themselves.
- Co-operation (ready to help friends in pair work/ groupwork).

1. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
2. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, projector, soft book

1.Warm up

2.New lesson:
4.Read and complete .
- Pupils’re going to read the passage & complete the sentences.
- Get them to read the sentences & guess the answers before looking for the relevant information in the reading passage.
- Set a time limit for pups to do the task independently .
- Have them compare their answers before checking as a class.

5.Write about your school and lessons .
- Pupils’re going to write about their schook & lessons.

- Pupils work in pairs , invite some groups to read their writing aloud.

6.Project.
- Pupils’re going to write a letter to a pen friend to talk about their timetables.
- Pupils work in pairs to dicuss what they should include in their letters.
- Invite few pairs / groups to read their letters to the class & give feedback.

7. Colour the stars.
- Have the class read the statements and check their comprehension.
- Give them time to colour the stars & invite a few pups to read the statements aloud.
- Give further support to pups who find it difficult to achieve certain objectives.
3. Futher practice
- Pupils practice what they have learnt.
- Remark the content of the lesson.
- Pupils do excercises in workbook at home and prepare for the next period.
