I- Aims:
- By the end of the lesson,the students will be able to use some simple imperative sentences in class, understand and do as the teacher says.

- Group work skills: working in pair to practice using the language naturally.

Activity 1: Warm- up (5’)
| *Purpose: This activity helps students review the numbers * Instruction: - T gives the instruction. (Now, you play in two teams one student from each team choose the cell then count the number in it other student has to read out the result.the team has the correct results which in a line first is the winner.) *Task: - Form of learning: groupwork - Play the game Noughts and crosses.

Activity 2: A. Come in A1. Listen and repeat. Then practice with a partner (10’) | *Purpose: This activity help stusdents know some commands using in class. *Task: - Form of learning: individuals - T introduces the new words - Ss listen, repeat and copy New word - Come in (v) - Open (the book) (v) - Sit down (v) - Close (the book) (v) - Stand up (v) * Evaluation: - T sets the scene, then plays tape 2 times, asks Ss to listen and repeat - Ss listen and repeat | |||||||||

Match and write (10’) | *Purpose: This activity helps students identify and practice using commands in the class. *Task: - Form of learning: individuals - T gets Ss to match the pictures with the imperative sentences individually then compare with classmate. - Have Ss' answer * Evaluation: T gives feed back * Suggested asnwer:

Play Simon says (5’) | * Purpose: This activity helps Ss further practice with commands using in the class. * Task: - Form of learning: individuals - T gets sts to play the game in whole class. (Now, listen to me carefully, If I say “Simon say: stand up” you quickly stand up, If I say “Stand up” you keep sitting.) - Ss play game * Evaluation: - T asks Ss practice using the commands. |
