I- Aims:
- By the end of the lesson,the students will be able to read the alphabet and ask people to spell their names
1. Skills:
- Practice 4 main skills.
- Language practice: To introduce the students some more new words relating to the topic “At School”
- Group work skills: working in pair to practice using the language naturally.

Activity 1: Warm- up (5’)
| *Purpose: This activity helps students feel more comfortable to learn the lesson. *Task: - Form of learning: groupwork - Play the game " Hang man " - Ss listen, then play game in whole class * Suggested answer: NAME |
Activity 2: B3. Listen and repeat (15’) | *Purpose: This activity helps students know the alphabet in english and the way to sing the alphabet song. *Task: - Form of learning: individuals - T asks Ss to listen and repeat the alphabet - Ss listen and repeat - T presents the alphabet song, plays tape 2 times, asks Ss to listen and repeat. - Ss listen and repeat. - T asks Ss to sing in whole class, then in groups - Ss do the task, then practice in front of class. * Evaluation: - T checks pronunciation |
Activity 3: B4. Listen and repeat. Then practice spelling your name with a partner (10’) | *Purpose: This activity helps students further practice with new structures and know the way to use "in" and "on" * Instruction: - T sets the scene then introduces the new words - Ss listen, repeat and copy New word - How - spell (v) - T introduces the grammar - Ss listen and copy Grammar - How do you spell your name ?
