Ben and Pan’s Adventure

Ben and Pan’s Adventure
Ben and Pan’s Adventure
The sun was rising when Ben and his friend Pan packed their bags for a hiking
trip. Ben checked the food, while Pan found a little bug crawling on his cap. “Good
luck,” Ben laughed, “maybe it’s a sign we’ll have fun!” They walked through a long
vine trail, the air fresh and the smell of flowers so fine. After an hour, they reached
a forest gate. A big sign said, “Don’t forget your pack!” Pan smiled, “I’ve got it!” —
but tripped on a stone, his bottle fell with a dip, splashing water on Ben’s shoes.
“Shock! My socks are all wet!” Ben shouted, while Pan tried to stay calm: “Don’t
get mad, sit and let me help.” Just then, they heard a loud buzz. A swarm of bees
was flying near a bus parked on the road. The driver, a kind old man, waved: “Stay
still, boys. The bees won’t sting if you’re calm like Zen.”
Later, they found a bird with a hurt wing beside a tree. Pan gently touched it,
saying, “Poor thing, it’s born to fly, not to burn under the sun.” They made a little
nest from leaves and waited until the bird could move again. As the sun set, Ben
said softly, “I can finally feel something new—kindness.” Pan smiled, “Yes, not just
fill our bags, but fill our hearts too.”
