A. CÁCH PHÁT ÂM ĐUÔI ‘’ ed’’

Có 3 cách phát âm : 

1. / id / : khi đứng sau các từ tận cùng là  / t,d /

Ex : wanted, needed, collected, divided. 

2. / t/  :  khi đứng sau các từ tận cùng là / p, k, f, s, c, x, gh, sh, ch /

Ex: watched, laughed, washed.

3. / d/  : các âm còn lại.      Ex: studied, carried, tried.

B. Wish clause

Use	From	Adv of time
- Điều ước không thật ở hiện tại	- S + wish(es) + S + Ved / V2   - S + wish(es) + S + didn’t + Vo Be : were dùng cho các ngôi	- Now, right now, at present, at the monent, at once, today
- Điều ước không thật ở tương lai	- S + wish(es) + S + would/could + Vo	- tomorrow, next, in the future.

C. TAG QUESTION : 

- Phần đuôi của “I am” là “aren’t I ”        

- Câu có Let’s à Shall we.                                    

•  Đại từ bất định nothing, everything: được thay bằng “it”     

- Chủ từ của câu nói là đại từ, ta lặp lại đại từ này           

- Chủ từ là danh từ, ta dùng đại từ tương ứng thay thế   

• Các đại từ no one, nobody, someone, somebody, everyone, everybody, anyone, anybody: được thay bằng “they”     à Ex: Someone called me last night, didn’t they? 
• Đại từ this / that được thay bằng “it”; these / those được thay bằng “they”   

- “There” trong cấu trúc “there + be” được dùng lại ở phần đuôi

- Câu nói có chứa các từ phủ định thì phần đuôi khẳng định       Ex: He never comes late, does he?

D. CÂU TƯỜNG THUẬT (DẠNG CÂU HỎI)

Câu nghi vấn (Interogative). 

1. Yes/ No – questions.

 Ex:  1- “ Have you seen that film?” he told her         => He asked if she had seen that film.

        2- “ Will Tom be here tomorrow?.” She told     => She wondered whether Tom would be there the day after.

Strutures ( Công thức):

            S  + tell / told + “ Do/does/was/will/are/is..   +  S +  V  +  O ?”

à        S + asked/wondered + (O) +             If/ whether       +  S + V(lùi thì) + O.
