Unit Assignment: Role-play
In this assignment, you are going to role-play (2-4 students) a conversation offering advice to
help someone become better organized. As you prepare your role-play, think about the Unit
Question, "How does appearance affect our success?" Use information from Listening 1,
Listening 2, and your work in this unit to support your role-play.
You are required to submit a video file in 3 to 5 minutes of your role-play. (You can
include the organized ideas table if you want).
Note: If you cannot find partners in your class, you can find someone outside.

In a group, make a list of situations that can create a mess at school or at work (for example, too
many piles of paper, not enough storage space, too many personal belongings, etc.). Discuss
ways to make the situations better. You can organize your group ideas in the table below.

Here are the suggested steps for you:
Step 1: Find a group from 2-4 friends from your class and plan the group discussion
Step 2: Together with your friends, make a list of make a list of situations that can create a mess

Step 4: Set a meeting via Zoom, or Google Meet for your group discussion.
Step 5: Choose a leader for your discussion. The leader can begin the discussion by asking
about your responses to the question.
Step 6: Each member in the group will share if they agree or disagree with each other.
Step 7: The group leader will conclude the discussion.
Step 8: Upload the video on ELOLMS.
